Genesis to Jesus
What is the Bible, where does it come from, and what is its purpose? How are Catholics supposed to read the Bible, and what story does it tell?
This study will explore these ever important questions and provide us with answers to better understand and incorporate the Sacred Scriptures into our everyday lives.
All are welcome to join this 12-week study beginning Tuesday, January 28 at 11:00 am in the Freude Room at St. Margaret Mary Church.
Luke: The Story of Salvation Fulfilled
This Bible Study will explore the life and teachings of Jesus Christ as told by St. Luke the Evangelist. Beginning with the foretelling of the birth of John the Baptist and continuing through Jesus’ public ministry, Passion, Death, Resurrection and Ascension, Luke’s narrative shows us how Jesus fulfills the Old Testament prophesies and everything that Scripture foretold about the promised Messiah.
As we journey through Luke’s account, we will encounter Jesus in a new way and discover how his teachings fit into our lives today.
All are welcome to join this 8-week study beginning Thursday, January 30 at 1:00 pm in Marble Hall at Mount Saint Peter Church.
Please contact Tim Ruflin at 724-335-2336, ext. 6322 if you would like to purchase a workbook for this Bible Study
